Stewardship at Old St. Andrew's

Stewardship at Old St. Andrew's is on-going. We are not afraid to talk about money, about our responsibility to give back to the church some of the bounty with which we have been blessed, about the property we care for in north Bloomfield, or about other opportunities to support the church.

That said, each fall we conduct our Annual Giving campaign. Parishioners pledge about 2/3rds of the parish budget. The balance of our income derives from other gifts and our endowment. The importance of pledges cannot be overstated. We strive to be a tithing parish and encourage sacrificial giving. Especially in these hard economic times, we are committed to preserving our endowment to the extent possible by increasing our annual pledges.

Planned Giving ~ About fifteen years ago, OSA received a significant bequest. Because of that gift, we now recognize the vital importance of including Old St. Andrew's in our wills. All parishioners are encouraged to add a codicil to their will to the benefit of OSA or to make the church a beneficiary of an insurance policy or annuity.

Here are some of the ways you can help:

  • Annual Giving
  • A Gift to Outreach
  • A Planned Gift or including OSA in your Will
  • A Gift to our Endowment
  • A Gift to our Maintenance Endowment
  • A Gift to the Cemetery
